01 / How TrueSAR started

SAR experience.
TrueSAR was founded by Connor Banks, a Connecticut public-safety professional and SAR K9 handler. His experience with fragmented tools for search missions, K9 operations, mapping, accountability and reporting led him to build a more connected approach.
The early focus was practical: K9/search tracking and getting useful information onto the mission map. That effort expanded into Mission Command, teams and assignments, accountability, and Training & Deployments — tools that help carry a response through to the documentation afterward.
